In a word, it be what as for the difference between the Western Europe culture and the Japanese culture?

There is no thought that it is oppressed by Japan and the thing is great.
It is able not to know sadness, and to kill the weak unabashedly because there are no feelings of the weak in elite's intellect and sensibility though the government culture of Japan is weak.

However, The Tale of Genji is only an oppressed person.

In Japan, the person who dies of hunger doesn't become extinct.
The good-for-nothing in the country is said that it must die.

The government culture went bankrupt by declining birthrate and a growing proportion of elderly people.
The power of people is killed.

It is natural in elite's sensibility and intellect.
It is called a self-responsibility.

It is richness made there.
Isn't it rich or so?

A person who that is rich, not rich is not rich in rich person.
It is called the self-responsibility, self-reliant efforts, and self management.

There is no human nature there.

Such a problem is also in The Tale of Genji.

紫の上は、父親知らずで、
幼児期からお寺に預けられ、
四歳にして光源氏に拉致監禁された。

そういえば誰だって虐げられている。

だが弱者は、強者に殺されて食われるだけで、
その逆は出来ない。

キリスト教文化は、弱い人に生きる喜びを与えた。

だからといって、西欧文化が何から何までいい分けではない。
西欧全体は、殺戮と略奪の文明だ。

その中に、愛がある。
餓死しそうな人がいると、それを助けに来る人がいる。

日本では、餓死する人が絶えない。
国の役立たずは死ねといわれる。

そんな違いが何だって言うのか。

お上文化は、少子高齢化で破産した。
たくさんの人を殺してしまう。

エリートの感性や知性にそれは当然のことだ。
それを自己責任という。

そこに作った豊かさだ。
それは豊かさかそうでないか。

豊かな人には豊かで、豊かでない人は豊かでない。
それを自己責任・自助努力・自己管理という。

そこには人間性がない！

源氏物語にもそういう問題がある。
