紫の上のように、
現実にあって、
即ち光源氏と共生しつつ、
光源氏の放つ悪の中で、
心を磨き、
この世のものとも思えない美しい人になった。

だが心では泣いていた。
即ち、現実を逃げず、現実と戦い、心を磨いた。
快楽に逃げてはいない。
